Persona Artifacts
Persona Artifacts:
As a followup to the discussion and post from a while back, I wanted to post an example tableau of my monastic persona. The concept comes from my Urban Archaeology classes where people take a photo of items that are meaningful and recognizable to themselves - those items that might have been buried with them as their personal treasures.
Each of these items have a story behind them and each has meaning.
1) Malachite Necklace (worn always)
2) Garrote (Household Favor)
3) Eating / Utility Knife (worn at belt)
4) Rosary (15 decades)
5) Pilgrimage Medallion (gift)
6) Apprenticeship Promise (gift)
7) Notebook (carried quite often)
8) Pennsic Medallions (kept with 5&6)
2) Garrote (Household Favor)
3) Eating / Utility Knife (worn at belt)
4) Rosary (15 decades)
5) Pilgrimage Medallion (gift)
6) Apprenticeship Promise (gift)
7) Notebook (carried quite often)
8) Pennsic Medallions (kept with 5&6)
So if you were to identify and photograph five to ten of your persona artifacts, what would they be?
